This is not really going straight ahead. I'm sorry. I'm underqualified. OK...starting over. Claire was lovely though too skinny. Her skin was translucent like how rich people want their tea cups to be. She had red hair and red eye-brows and her eyelashes were invisible. She married this mean shit. It's OK for me to call him that because I only every saw him be mean and shitty. Maybe there were other parts of him, but I never saw any. Claire and him married. Claire cooked at a nice restaurant, The Red Rooster Inn, a few miles away. I think she was a pretty good cook. The two of them lived together for ten years. They had a son named Daryl. I can't remember if he was a mean bastard when he was little. I don't think so. It's hard to tell with boys though. Everyone carries around the full spectrum of possible selves so it's hard to really know. People have an infinite capacity for change. It's a slippery contingent universe where the light on a mud puddle can change you forever into a better or worse person.
