Jay saw Claire at the Walmart buying an ugly banana colored bag. Her red hair was tied back in a scarf. She was sneezing and inconspicuously talking to herself. The scarf was sky blue and silky. He was taken with the color of the scarf and the color of her hair so he followed her at a discreet distance. Her skin was so thin you could see the veins underneath it. From far away her face and arms looked bluish, like drowned people's. But close up you could see the network of veins and she just looked like someone who's getting blood. Her hair was the color of melted pennies.
